***The Level 3 Fun Competition Meet will be a one-judge panel competition. Every gymnast will receive a participation trophy.
All gymnasts must be USAG registered athletes. Entry fees
will be made out and mailed to the host club not the State Chair. This will be a co-sponsored event. More info to follow.

2010 USAG New York State Qualification Scores
Local Competitions.

• There are NO qualification scores to any local USAG sanctioned competition.
• Sanctioned USAG Local Meets are run by individual USAG Certified Meet Directors. 
• Gymnasts do not have to perform on all four events.

From Regional Championship to Level 9 Eastern National Championship  
based on Regional percentage. Minimum score 34.00AA
From Regional Championship to Level 10 National Championship top 7 gymnasts per age group.

From State Championship to Regional Championship. 
Top 7 gymnasts from the 8-12 year old division and the 13 & over division make-up the New York State Regional Team. These two age divisions are subdivided at the
State Championship as follows: 8-10 year olds, 11-12 year olds, 13-14 year olds & 15 & over. Then an additional number of spots will be awarded on a  percentage of the gymnasts
in rank order throughout the Region, these gymnasts will become the New York State All Stars.

Late Season Level 5 is now a State Championship Level. It will follow the same competition format as Level 6 - 10.
There will be an Upstate and Downstate Late Season Level 5 State Championship in conjunction with the Level 4 Team Cup.  
Level 4 Team Cup
Minimum proficiency score to be achieved at a sanctioned USAG Sectional Competition for entry to the Team Cup 28.00AA.
Level 3 "Introduction to Competition"
Open to all USAG Registered Level 3 Athletes

New York State Automatic Qualification Rules 

• A gymnast who qualified to last seasons State Championship and has not changed competitive levels automatically qualifies to the sectional competition.
• A gymnast who qualified to last years Regional or National Championship and has not changed competitive levels automatically qualifies to the Level 8-9-10 State Championship.
• A gymnast who scores the State Championship Qualification score at any of the board recognized State Qualification Invitational Competitions automatically qualifies to the State Championship providing she has not changed levels from the Invitational Competition.
